Overview

From browsing to configuring

Katwood makes handmade wood furniture, and wanted an online store where customers could explore materials and finishes and picture a piece in their own home.

We started with competitor analysis and content structure planning. Site maps and wireframes defined the user journey before any design work began.

What we built

A store with a 3D configurator

The design was built in Figma with custom solutions for presenting materials and finishes, making personalization a core part of browsing. The key feature is a 3D configurator that lets visitors model products in their own space.

  • Custom material and finish presentation
  • 3D furniture configurator
  • Full product catalogue on WordPress
  • Direct purchasing
  • Met EU funding design and functionality requirements
Results

A store that sets Katwood apart

Katwood now has an online store where customers can explore materials, configure furniture in 3D, and purchase directly. The configurator is the main differentiator, letting buyers visualize products in their space before ordering.
