Custom ERP development for the way your company runs.

A standard ERP asks you to work the way it was designed. Where a company does something differently, that difference is usually the reason it wins the work. Custom ERP development puts orders, invoices, inventory and reporting in one system that follows your process instead of replacing it.

When a standard ERP stops fitting.

  1. 01The same number is typed into three places
  2. 02The process was changed to suit the software
  3. 03Month-end takes days
  4. 04Every change is a quote from the vendor
Build or buy

Most companies should buy an ERP, not build one.

A standard product often pays for itself sooner. In the first conversation we tell you plainly which option suits you.

When a standard ERP is enoughWhen building your own pays off
The work is close to how the rest of your industry runs. The way you handle orders or production is part of why customers choose you.
Accounting and inventory matter more than anything specific to you.Licenses and per-seat costs already exceed what a system of your own would cost to run.
There is no system to replace yet, and anything is better than nothing.Four or five tools are stitched together and the joins are where the mistakes happen.
You would rather fit the process to the software than the other way round. The work changes often enough that waiting on a vendor is the bottleneck.
What it covers

The parts custom ERP software usually needs.

We build only the parts you need, and connect the tools you keep, such as accounting or email, rather than replacing them.

  • Orders and quotes

One record from first inquiry to delivery, so nobody has to ask another team where an order stands.

  • Inventory and purchasing

Stock levels that move when orders do, with purchase orders raised from what is actually committed.

  • Invoicing and documents

Invoices, packing lists and certificates produced from the same records, in your format, without retyping.

  • Production and projects

Jobs, stages and capacity tracked the way your operation is organized, whether that is a line, a crew or a project.

  • Integrations

Accounting, payments, shipping and your online store connected, so figures agree without a monthly reconciliation.

  • Reporting

Margin, throughput and stock read from live records, so the report and the floor say the same thing.

A business management system built around one company process.

Orders, inventory, invoicing and reporting moved out of separate tools and into one system, with documents produced from the same records the team already keeps.

FAQ

The things people ask first.

When is a standard ERP the better choice?
When your operation runs close to how the rest of your industry runs, and what you need most is accounting and inventory. Products like NetSuite, Dynamics or Odoo start working sooner and cost less to own. If that is your case we will say so.
When does custom ERP development pay off?
When the way you handle orders or production is part of why customers choose you, when license and per-seat costs already exceed what running your own would cost, or when four or five tools are stitched together and the joins are where mistakes happen.
Do we have to replace everything at once?
No, and we would advise against it. We start with the part of the operation that costs you the most time, put that into use, then add the next part. Running the old and the new side by side for a period is normal.
Will it connect to our accounting and online store?
Yes. Accounting, payments, shipping and your store are connected so figures agree without a monthly reconciliation. What to connect is decided by where each piece of information first appears.
Who looks after the system after launch?
The team that built it. We stay close for the first weeks after launch, because that is when the things testing missed come to light. Further support and updates are agreed separately.
